I’ve been curious about The Trailhead Store (6500 S New Hope Rd, Belmont, NC 28012) located at the Daniel Stowe Conservancy’s Villages at Stowe for some time now. So I finally dropped by after hiking down that way today, and I’m glad I did because this shop is super dope.
I found they serve:
Beverages such as coffee, tea, beer, and wine.
Food includes sandwiches and baked goods like muffins and cookies.
There are also snacks, local products, and gifts available.
I also learned that visitors can access to 8+ miles of Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens and Carolina Thread trails, which gives this market a very deserving name.
Next time, I’ll make the visit better by grabbing a beer and actually hanging out for a bit on their screened-in porch, outdoor picnic area, or their Sasquatch Attic, which their website describes as their “delightfully kitschy, cozy upstairs.”
