Eight Things I Learned About Ncuti Gatwa And Doctor Who From His Recent Tonight Show Appearance

If I were a time lord from Galifray, both of my hearts would be happy to watch a recent late-night Ncuti Gatwa Doctor Who interview.

The Fifteenth Doctor appeared on The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon, this week to promote the upcoming Doctor Who season.

During the interview, he discussed Barbie, Ryan Gosling, and, of course, Doctor Who. Here are the specifics of what I learned from his answers to Fallon’s questions.

Ncuti Gatwa was on the set of Barbie when it was announced that he would play the Fifteenth Doctor of the British sci-fi series Doctor Who.

Ryan Gosling is a massive Doctor Who fan. He supported Gatwa’s role as the new Doctor Who by wearing a t-shirt featuring Gatwa on it, appearing as the Fifteenth Doctor.

Gatwa made Gosling wearing the tee-shirt his phone screensaver because “he wanted to save the moment.”

While on the Doctor Who set, Gatwa and Millie Gibson filled the downtime between filming with impressions of Kourtney Kardashian. “How are we going to kill the Cybermen,” Gatwa said in his Kourtney impression.

Gatwa first appeared on screen in a show called Bob Servant, which starred Brian Cox.
