Many great people out there share the first common name, Todd. According to Ancestory.com, Todd is a “nickname for someone thought to resemble a fox for example in cunning or slyness or perhaps more obviously in having red hair from northern Middle English.”
I’m sure some Todds possess these attributes, but that’s not what makes them brilliant. These people are probably incredible for simply being named or called Todd. Because Todds are good, and Todds are great.
Starting for fun this month (January 2024), I want to start recognizing Todds of the Month. This award will work like Employees of the Month. But these individuals will not get acknowledged for reaching excellence in something or for doing something exceptional in the past month, but just because the individual goes by Todd, who I’d like to name now.
Drum roll on the table, please.
For the first ever Todd of the Month, I want to give myself this honor without shame.
“Thank you, Thank you. I totally agree and accept the January prestige.”
Todd. I mean me. I want to say hello from North Carolina. I’m an avid fan of geeky & shiny things. My celebrity lookalike is John Ritter (who played Jack Tripper from the American television sitcom Three’s Company). I like to write science fiction and supernatural short stories. I’m 100% published at my personal blog called Stormstrouper.com. Stormstrouper.com is my internet mancave for my short stories, posts of interest, and doodles.
Eleven more real and unreal Todds will get this honor. Todds will get announced at the end of each month for the rest of 2024 on my Instagram (@stormstrouper) and at Stormstrouper.com.
Direct message my Instagram or email me at stormtrouper.writing@gmail.com with your Todds of the Month nominations.
